A Complete 6-Day Kashmir Journey, Planned Around You

A sixth day rarely gets spent chasing a new destination. Most of our travellers use it to slow down somewhere they already liked, or to add one quiet meadow that never makes it onto a shorter itinerary. Doodhpathri usually ends up being that place, and it is worth every extra hour on the road to reach it.

The core of this trip stays the same as our shorter packages, Srinagar, Gulmarg, Pahalgam and Sonamarg, but the pace opens up considerably. Mornings do not need to start quite as early, and nobody is checking a watch to see if the next stop is running late.

Doodhpathri sits away from the usual tourist flow, a genuinely green, quiet meadow that most travellers only hear about after their trip is already over. We would rather you hear about it now, while you still have a spare day to use on it.

Your driver stays with you for the entire six days, which by this point tends to mean he has picked up on your pace and preferences well before you have said them out loud. As always, every stop here can be swapped, extended or dropped to match what you actually want.

Arrival In Srinagar And Local Sightseeing

Pickup from the airport or railway station, followed by a Dal Lake shikara ride, a stop at the Mughal gardens, and check in at your houseboat or hotel by evening.

Day 2

Srinagar To Gulmarg Excursion

A full day trip to Gulmarg's meadows, with the gondola ride available as an optional add on, before heading back to Srinagar for the night.

Day 3

Srinagar to Pahalgam

Drive out to Pahalgam, with stops at Betaab Valley and Aru Valley along the way, then an overnight stay in Pahalgam itself.

Day 4

Pahalgam to Srinagar & Departure

A scenic drive from Pahalgam back through Srinagar and on to Sonamarg, with time at Thajiwas Glacier by foot or pony ride, before returning to Srinagar for the night.

Day 5

Srinagar To Doodhpathri Excursion

A relaxed day trip to Doodhpathri's meadows, a quieter alternative to the busier stops earlier in the trip, followed by a return to Srinagar.

Departure From Srinagar

A calm final morning with time for any last minute shopping in the old city, followed by drop off at the airport or railway station for your onward journey.

The best service ever received! They helped in planning the trip. Offered lots of good options for hotel and house boat at discounted rate. They were available every time for the queries. The driver was polite and helpful. The vehicle was in good condition. The driver was very knowledgeable about all good places — be it eating points, or important shops like places where original cricket bats are made, where we can get original dry fruits, pashmina shawl etc. Unlike other travel packages using this provided us the complete flexibility of doing changes and checking out new places.
