Gurez Valley sits close to the Line of Control, north of Srinagar, and it stays green and largely untouched for one simple reason, it takes real effort to get there. Most Kashmir itineraries never go near it because a day trip is not really possible. You need a package built around it, and that is exactly what this one is.
Ten days is what it takes to give Gurez its due, on top of the full valley circuit most travellers already have on their list, Srinagar, Gulmarg, Pahalgam and Sonamarg, each with enough time to actually enjoy rather than pass through. If you have been to Kashmir before and want to see the part almost nobody else has, this is the package for that trip.
We do not send every traveller toward Gurez without a proper conversation first. The drive in involves mountain roads that close for winter and can shift with the season, so our team checks conditions closely before confirming this stretch of the itinerary, and we will tell you plainly if timing needs to shift.
Everything else about this package runs the same as our longer circuits, overnight stays rather than rushed day trips, and a driver who stays with you the entire ten days. If Gurez ends up not suiting your dates, we can happily swap it for Yusmarg or a longer stay elsewhere instead.

Pickup from the airport or railway station, followed by a Dal Lake shikara ride, a stop at the Mughal gardens, and check in at your houseboat or hotel by evening.

Srinagar Old City And Leisure Day
A slower second day exploring Srinagar's old city, local markets and the remaining Mughal gardens, with time built in to simply sit by the lake if you would rather.
Day 3
Srinagar To Gulmarg, Overnight Stay
Drive up to Gulmarg and check in for two nights, with the afternoon left free for the first gondola stage or simply settling into the meadow air.
Day 4
Gulmarg Leisure And Photography Day
A full second day in Gulmarg, with the option of an early start for the second gondola stage, a walk toward Alpather Lake, or nothing more than good light and a slower morning.
Day 5
Gulmarg To Pahalgam Via Srinagar
A scenic drive back through Srinagar and on to Pahalgam, checking in for a two night stay.
