The road from Srinagar to Sonamarg is one of the most travelled stretches in Kashmir, and also one of the most booked incorrectly, visitors paying for a full day package when a simple one way drop or a quick round trip was all they actually needed.
This route exists for that reason, a plain transfer between the two points, priced and explained clearly so you book exactly what your plan calls for rather than whatever the standard package happens to include.
Pickup is usually from your hotel or houseboat, and the drive itself takes a little under three hours each way depending on traffic through Ganderbal, the main town before the final stretch into Sonamarg.

The best service ever received! They helped in planning the trip. Offered lots of good options for hotel and house boat at discounted rate. They were available every time for the queries. The driver was polite and helpful. The vehicle was in good condition. The driver was very knowledgeable about all good places — be it eating points, or important shops like places where original cricket bats are made, where we can get original dry fruits, pashmina shawl etc.
Unlike other travel packages using this provided us the complete flexibility of doing changes and checking out new places. We could call them at night 9pm and they were responsive.
They made this family trip with parents, a completely wonderful experience! Must recommend!

The best service ever received! They helped in planning the trip. Offered lots of good options for hotel and house boat at discounted rate. They were available every time for the queries. The driver was polite and helpful. The vehicle was in good condition. The driver was very knowledgeable about all good places — be it eating points, or important shops like places where original cricket bats are made, where we can get original dry fruits, pashmina shawl etc.
Unlike other travel packages using this provided us the complete flexibility of doing changes and checking out new places. We could call them at night 9pm and they were responsive.
They made this family trip with parents, a completely wonderful experience! Must recommend!
