Gurez Valley Taxi For Hire

Gurez sits far enough from Srinagar, and far enough off the usual circuit, that most visitors never make it there at all. The valley opens only for part of the year, once the Razdan Pass clears of snow, and that alone keeps it quieter than almost anywhere else in Kashmir.

The drive itself is part of the experience, climbing through the pass before dropping into the Kishanganga river valley with Habba Khatoon peak rising ahead of Dawar town. Our drivers know the pass well enough to judge timing around weather rather than guessing.

This usually works as an overnight trip rather than a single long day, since the distance and the mountain road eat into daylight both ways. Most visitors spend a night in Dawar and use the second day for Tulail Valley further along.

Duration is flexible depending on how far into Tulail you want to go. Tell us if Dawar alone is enough or you want the fuller two day version, and we will plan the trip around that.
