We have driven enough newly married couples around this valley to know what actually matters on a honeymoon, and it is rarely the length of the sightseeing list. It is the quiet ten minutes at a viewpoint before the next group of tourists arrives, the later start because nobody wants an alarm on this particular trip, and a driver who reads the room well enough to know when to talk and when to simply drive.

There is no single fixed itinerary here, because no two honeymoons want the same thing. Some couples want the full valley circuit at a gentle pace. Others want three unhurried days entirely in Srinagar and Gulmarg, with long mornings and nowhere urgent to be.
