Somewhere around the eighth day, a Kashmir trip stops being a holiday you are ticking off and starts being one you actually settle into. This package keeps everything from our seven day circuit and adds a single offbeat day in Yusmarg, a meadow that barely makes it onto most itineraries simply because most trips run out of days before they run out of interest.

Yusmarg sits quietly behind Srinagar, easy enough to reach in a morning, and green in a way that photographs terribly compared to how it actually feels to stand in. We would rather send you there with a full day than squeeze it into an afternoon between two other stops.

Everything else about this package follows the same shape as our week long circuit, two days each in Srinagar and Pahalgam, a full day at Gulmarg, and Sonamarg on the way back through the valley. The extra day simply gives you one more place most tourists never get around to.
